Firetech Training Limited is established to provide the Off-Job (theory) training, under contract to Competenz, to all persons within the Fire Protection Industry who wish to gain a National Certificate.

The purpose of Firetech Training Limited is to provide industry specific training to those employees and apprentices in the fire protection industry, and the fire rescue services industry, who wish to gain National Certificates that are registered on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework for those industries.

Where appropriate, Firetech Training Limited will also provide training to any other students wishing to receive training in the domains or for the unit standards for which Firetech Training Limited is registered and accredited.

To ensure that as many people as possible working in the fire safety industries are appropriately qualified, competent, and understand the nature and science of fire, and the significance of the fire safety systems in protecting life and property in New Zealand.
